Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Last updated: July 27, 2026

Paxton Ridge is committed to giving customers meaningful control over how their personal information is used. This page describes the opt-out rights available to residents of United States jurisdictions whose privacy laws include a right to direct businesses not to sell or share personal data, along with the steps for exercising those rights on our store. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which contains the full picture of how information is collected, used, and disclosed.

1. Purpose of This Page

Several U.S. state statutes, most notably the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, along with comparable frameworks adopted in states such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and others, give residents the ability to instruct a business to stop selling their personal information or to stop sharing it for cross-context behavioral advertising. This document is our formal notice of that right and explains the mechanisms available for submitting a request. If you live outside the United States, the terms below may not apply to you, though we still offer several of the same controls as a matter of practice.

2. How the Terms "Sell" and "Share" Are Understood Here

The word "sell," as defined in these laws, does not always mean an exchange of money. It can include any disclosure of personal information to a third party in exchange for other kinds of valuable consideration, such as analytics services, advertising credits, or expanded audience reach. The word "share" carries a more specific meaning under the California statute and covers disclosures made for the purpose of cross-context behavioral advertising, which is the practice of targeting ads to a person based on their activity across websites and services that are not owned by the same business. Paxton Ridge does not sell personal information for monetary payment. However, certain data flows created by the advertising and analytics tools running on our site, such as cookies and pixels used to measure marketing performance, may be treated as a "sale" or "share" under the broad legal definitions described above, and this page gives you a clear way to opt out of those flows.

3. Categories of Information Potentially Involved

The categories of personal information that may be involved in advertising or analytics disclosures include identifiers such as device IDs, IP addresses, and cookie IDs; internet and network activity such as pages viewed, referring URLs, and interactions with product listings; approximate geolocation derived from the IP address; and inferences drawn from browsing behavior to build audience segments. We do not knowingly disclose government-issued identifiers, financial account credentials, precise geolocation, or the contents of your communications for advertising or analytics purposes.

4. Your Right to Opt Out

If you are a resident of a state whose privacy law provides an opt-out right, you may direct Paxton Ridge to stop selling or sharing your personal information at any time. There is no cost to submit a request, and you do not need to hold an account with us to exercise the right. You may submit an opt-out for your own information, or, where the applicable law permits, an authorized agent may submit one on your behalf.

5. How to Submit an Opt-Out Request

There are two ways to submit a request. The first is to send an email to support@paxtonridge.com with the phrase "Do Not Sell or Share" in the subject line, along with your first and last name, the state you live in, and the email address you have used with our store. Providing this information helps us match the request to the correct records and reduces the risk of unintended action on someone else's data. The second option is to enable the Global Privacy Control signal in a browser or extension that supports it. When we detect a valid Global Privacy Control signal originating from your device, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information associated with that browser, and we honor it without any additional action required from you.

6. Verification of Your Identity

Before we act on an opt-out request submitted by email, we may need to take reasonable steps to verify that the request is being made by you and not by an impostor. Verification usually involves matching the details you provide against the information already in our records, and in some cases we may follow up with a short confirmation email sent to the address on file. If we are unable to verify a request with reasonable confidence, we will let you know and may ask for additional information or offer alternative ways to submit the request.

7. Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. An authorized agent must supply written proof of the authorization, such as a signed permission document or power of attorney, and we may separately contact you to confirm that you have granted the agent permission to act. This safeguard is in place to protect against fraudulent requests submitted without your knowledge.

8. Timing of Our Response

After we receive and, where applicable, verify a valid opt-out request, we will process it as soon as reasonably practicable and in any event within the timeframe required by the law that applies to you. For California residents this is generally fifteen business days from receipt, and other states may allow shorter or longer periods. We will continue to honor the opt-out until you specifically instruct us otherwise, subject to the requirements of applicable law.

9. No Discrimination for Exercising Your Rights

Paxton Ridge will not deny you access to the store, charge you a different price, provide a lower quality of product or service, or otherwise penalize you for choosing to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Certain features that rely on cookies or third-party tools may function differently once opt-out signals are honored, but essential shopping and support functions remain available in full.

10. Sensitive Personal Information

Certain state laws recognize a separate category called sensitive personal information, which can include data such as precise geolocation, government identifiers, financial account details, racial or ethnic origin, health information, and the contents of private communications. Paxton Ridge does not use sensitive personal information for purposes beyond what is necessary to provide the store, process your orders, comply with the law, and protect the security of our systems. If you are a resident of a state that recognizes a right to limit the use of sensitive personal information, you may submit that request through the same channels described above.

11. Cookies, Trackers, and Browser Controls

In addition to submitting an opt-out request, you can manage the tracking technologies active on our site through your browser settings and any consent banner or preference center displayed on paxtonridge.com. Clearing cookies from your browser will typically remove any opt-out preference that was stored as a cookie, so you may need to renew the opt-out after clearing your browsing data or when switching to a different browser or device.

12. Where This Page Applies

The rights described here are provided under U.S. state privacy statutes and are available to residents of states whose laws grant them. If you are a resident of a state that has not adopted such a right, we still welcome your request and will honor it in the same manner where doing so is operationally practical.
